Last Wednesday we had a Ping demo day where the new Ping G30 range of clubs was introduced to the membership. The new range was so well received that we are holding another on Wednesday 27th August.
Whilst the new range of G30 drivers, fairway woods and irons were some of the most impressive new clubs to the market in recent years the most impressive feature for me as a Golf Professional who is trying to ensure that any clubs you purchase are perfectly suited to your game is the Ping nFLIGHT Motion analyser. This new analyser measures your clubhead speed, transition and impact handle lean whilst hitting driver, it then gives a club, loft and shaft recommendation. Any recommendations can then be assessed using Flightscope Dopplar radar to ensure that the driver selected is giving you the best combination of flight, ball speed and spin which leads to maximum distance and accuracy.
As a dedicated Ping fitting account Mount Lawley will have one of these devices shortly so even if you can’t make it to the next Ping demo day rest assured this technology will be available for all in the next few weeks.
