Mount Lawley Golf Club is pleased to announce that Head Golf Professional Duncan Kegg has been appointed State Coach for the Junior Girls team and will travel with the team to South Australia in April for the Interstate Series. The team will be managed by MLGC member and Girls’ Junior Coordinator Sue Thomson who will accompany Duncan on the trip. The team will be announced following the Nedlands Junior Masters on Monday, 2nd March with the expectation there will be 3 to 4 MLGC junior girls named in the team. Member Shonna Gobby has been appointed Manager of the State Women’s team which will go to Victoria for the interstate series at the end of April.
Duncan has, for the past few years, been the State Development Coach for the Metropolitan region and this appointment is just reward for his hard work over the years in junior golf with four of the current state girls team’s representatives coming through Duncan’s junior program.
We wish Duncan all the best in this exciting role and encourage all members interested in improving their games to book in for a Flightscope golf lesson to get ready for the coming golf season.
