The Club would like to congratulate Head Professional Duncan Kegg on the great achievement of being awarded PGA Teaching Professional of the Year for 2014, this was presented at last Friday’s West Australian Golf Industry Awards Gala Night at the Crown Entertainment Complex.
Duncan took out the honour ahead of Professionals from Joondalup and Royal Fremantle for his contribution to the industry by developing junior golf programs, his success in working with club members to improve their golf-increasing their enjoyment and recently being appointed Western Australian State Coach for the Junior Girls Team.
Duncan’s passion is helping MLGC members improve their game with latest technology that includes Flightscope and this was paramount in him receiving this recognition from his peers. Duncan is continually looking to improve his coaching and learn new skills and makes it a great focus to attend Golf Coaching Educational Seminars to keep abreast of new technology.
