On Wednesday club members who visited the Mizuno Demo day were fortunate enough to try the new line of woods. These new clubs were being hit for the first time anywhere in Western Australia and from most of the members who tried them liked the new look but also found them far more forgiving yet still producing a penetrating ballflight. These clubs will be released officially in Australia in early October.
A number of club members have visited me in the last week for a clubfitting session and using Flightscope have seen the benefits of being well fitted for irons with an increase in average distance and a tighter shot dispersion. They are now excitingly waiting on their new clubs arrival – this normally takes 8-10 days being built from scratch, perfectly weighted and shipped to Mount Lawley. Any members wishing to have a club fitting session can book by visiting the new booking system on the Mount Lawley website for golf lessons and selecting “clubfitting” if you have any troubles navigating the new lesson booking system for either golf lessons or clubfitting please contact me in the Golf Shop.
Ladies I am looking at conducting a combined Mizuno and Ping Demo Day, both of these companies have a great range of clubs for ladies with lots of different shaft options to ensure you get the most out of your game. Please visit me in the Golf Shop and advise me of a day that suits the most of you best.
Below is a couple of images showing the improvement in both consistency and distance with correctly fitted clubs – note the 23 metre distance gain!
