In perfect weather conditions, the Mount Lawley Junior Open was played today with 96 players entered from all over the metro area, with some having to get up extra early to drive up from Bunbury! Winners of the Boys’ championship was Tristan Geerlings (BunburyGC) who shot 72 and defeated Zac Vaughn (HartfieldGC) and Alexander Allcock (LKCC) on the first hole of a playoff. The Open Nett Championship was won by Mount Lawley junior Gagan Dhaliwal who had a nett 64 and runner up Tom Manolas 66 (Mount Lawley). The Girls’ Open Championship was won by Mount Lawley junior Hira Naveed with a 3-under 71. Lara Donaldson (GosnellsGC) was the nett winner with 64.
