Members may have noticed a couple of new and old faces in the Golf Shop these last few weeks. After years of working at the Club but avoiding golf, our OHS & Training Manager, Lucy has joined the Golf Shop team along with Andrew Rollo, a PGA Professional from Scotland, and Club member Arden Ashworth who has spent the last few years maintaining the range before commencing work in the Shop. Along with Duncan, Ric & Richard, the whole team look forward to welcoming members to the Shop and assisting them with their purchases! We are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the latest range of FootJoy Shoes and have been busy re-arranging the shop to showcase their arrival. The stock is expected mid December so watch this space for more information. To make room for their arrival, we have some fantastic specials available on our current shoe range, but get in quick before they ‘run’ out the door! The arrival of the warmer weather has seen the arrival of our summer ranges from Ping & Adidas. The latest polo’s, skorts, shorts and trousers are all on sale now. In addition to complete your summer golfing look, we have taken stock of some new buggies and golf bags to help you round the course on the hot days! Earlier this year our Head Golf Professional, Duncan Kegg was recognised as the PGA 2014 Teaching Professional of the Year, we thought we couldn’t get any prouder of Duncan’s achievements until we were advised that he had been nominated by the PGA for the 2015 PGA National Teaching Professional of the Year Award. Duncan will be heading off to the Gold Coast for the Greg Norman Medal Awards Night at the end of this month. Well done Duncan and good luck!
