It is hard to believe we are already preparing for Opening Week in the Golf Shop, where has the first part of the year gone?
Opening Week gets off to a great start on Wednesday with the Golf Shop Staff out on the putting green with the Grip Station along with sausage sizzle for all morning and afternoon players hosted by ‘The Italians’. With every grip done on the green during the day members will be entered into the draw to win a dozen Callaway Golf Balls. Increase your chances of winning by making those subtle tweaks to your game, get a new glove of your choice and a dozen balls of your choice and enjoy 10% off the pair! New team member Sam will be in the courtyard selling balls & gloves before you go out!
Thursday sees the arrival of all our Ladies for their Step Aside Ambrose Opening Event. We have been busy preparing a Green Lamb, Abacus & Calvin Klein Fashion Show for the ladies to enjoy during their lunch with special purchase offers available on the day. We will be back on the putting green again on Thursday, why not give your putter a facelift before you tee off and go in the draw to win a dozen Callaway Golf Balls.
Saturday is set to be another busy day with a Mizuno fitting day on the Range from 9am. Feel free to swing by between 9am-2pm and demo the new woods, irons & wedges in the Mizuno Range.
The ball sweep has undergone a revamp in time for Opening Week, we will now be rewarding players with a NXT Tour ball. Commencing Wednesday, all entries in the ball sweep will go in the draw to win a Titleist Golf Bag. The promotion will run until the Saturday, 2nd April and members can enter multiple times, the more times you enter the ball sweep, the greater your chance of winning!
The arrival of Opening Week comes a new face in the Golf Shop as we welcome Sam to the team. Sam joins us from the UK via Maylands Golf Club where he spent the last 3 years as a Golf Shop Assistant. Sam brings with him a wealth of knowledge on hardware, apparel and of the game itself. Sam has high hopes to one day commence a PGA Traineeship, so don’t be too surprised if you see him around the range and putting green on his days off getting his handicap down!
On behalf of the whole team, we would look forward to looking after you for Opening Week and of course the golfing season ahead. Happy golfing!
