I hope all members and their families had a great time over the Christmas period!

With Monday being one of the hottest days on record and a few months of hot weather in front of us, some of you may spend more time at the beach rather than the golf course, trying to stay cool! However this doesn’t mean you can’t improve your golf, two great activities that are commonly enjoyed by Australians at the beach include fishing and throwing a frisbee. Both of these activities involve loading up (golf backswing), stepping forward planting your front foot and rotating through to release (the correct golfing downswing sequence).

So when you next head to the beach make sure you take a rod or a frisbee and work on your game whilst you’re there (just remember to throw the frisbee left handed if you’re a right handed golfer).
