The Birthday Cup, one of the Club’s oldest annual honour board events dating back to 1933 was played on Sunday over 36 holes and attracted a field of 107 players.
Club member Tony Connolly, playing off a handicap of 14 was victorious with a winning two round stableford score of 74, a margin of 3 points over runner up Mitchell Rosher. Tony finished strong with 41 points in the afternoon to emerge victorious following his 33 point effort in the morning round.
As mentioned runner up honours went to Mitchell Rosher with rounds of 37 and 34 points for a 71 total.
Rounding out positions 3-6 was a 4-way tie on 70 points between John Barker, Russell O’Callaghan, Bobby Despotovski, and Mike Pascoe.
