Putting is one of the most important parts of your game and good putting can really save you shots on the days when you may not be playing as well as you like.
To be a good putter requires you to have a technically sound stroke however this technical side of things only makes up a small part of the package of putting well. The technical side of things is your ability to “consistently start the ball on the intended line with the intended pace for the shot at hand”. The other component of putting well is your ability to “Read the Greens” this side of things has long been thought of as a skill that you either had or you may have gained through experience.
Now at Mount Lawley you can learn the award winning green reading system as used by many of the world’s leading players “Aimpoint Express” this two hour course is the perfect balance between simplicity and accuracy and the correct Aimpoint skills brings you one step closer to a better stroke and making more putts. I have organised for Steve Giuliano who is one of only four level IV certified instructors to visit Mount Lawley on Saturday 25th July at 9am to run a two session that can be learned by anyone. I encourage any member who is keen to improve their putting and truly learn how to read greens to contact me and book in for this clinic. Please see flyer below with further details on the clinic.
