Member Insurance Policy

The Club insures all financial playing members for personal accident / injury as well as physical loss or damage to golf equipment. In addition to the insurance cover detailed above, the Affiliation Fees paid by the Club on behalf of all financial playing members to Golf WA includes cover for Personal Liability. Details of Cover

Personal Injury

Capital Benefits  – $100,000 (refer policy document for details) Loss of Income – up to $500 per week (excess – 7 days) Non-medicare medical – 80% up to $1,000 (excess $50) Loss of Subscription – maximum $1,000 Ancillary benefits – As per the policy Please refer to Golf Australia and Sportscover Product Disclosure Statement and Policy Document for further information

Player Equipment

Loss includes damage, destruction or physical loss including theft Golf equipment includes golf clubs, balls, bags, trolleys, motorised non-ride on buggies / carts and additionally clothing and accessories specifically designed and purchased for playing golf. “New for Old” up to 5 years – limit of any one claim $5,000. Handy Tips

• Always take photos of your golfing equipment, especially when travelling interstate or overseas. This assists our Insurance provider when making a claim.
• Keep copies of your receipts. A great idea is to scan and save all receipts electronically to ensure ink on the paper does not fade over time.
• Shop @ the Club! We keep all receipts on file for purchases made at the Club so any equipment that is lost or stolen and was purchased at the Golf Shop, a receipt or proof of purchase may be obtained to assist our Insurance provider. 

Personal Liability of members for property damage

For third party injury or damage to property whilst on or in the precinct of any golf course anywhere in Australia Limit of any one claim $20,000,000. Please contact the General Manager gm@mlgc.org should you require further information on the Mount Lawley Golf Club Member Insurance Plan
